In Apple TV’s antepenultimate episode of The Last Thing He Told Me, the Jennifer Garner-led series is officially treating its biggest truths like something that can’t stay buried. As we learn in Friday’s latest episode, “The Prosecutor,” things are about to get a lot more dangerous as Hannah (Garner) and Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) take their search to Paris, and the identity of the Marshals’ office mole finally comes to light for the audience in the shape of Maris (Michael Hyatt). But the episode’s sharpest turn lands with Bailey, played most vibrantly by Angourie Rice, whose constant search into her mother’s past forces her to see the adults around her in a very different light.
