In the last few moments of Spider-Noir, Nicolas Cage’s Ben Reilly — aka The Spider — might have saved the city, but the Prime Video finale makes it painfully clear that the victory comes at a cost. With Silvermane (Brendan Gleeson) now dead, Flint (Jack Huston) is free and finally cured of being the Sandman, happily walking away with his former dame, Cat Hardy (Li Jun Li), leaving Ben emotionally stranded. But that’s not the worst coming out of a noir-filled love triangle of betrayal and hurt.
